25 years ago I contracted with other shops to do the repairs they couldn’t. I started out of a small apartment and grew the business to five stores prior to the pandemic. Now that I’m down to two locations and just me I’m much happier – which I have been told by clients translates to better customer experience.
Prior to opening this business I worked in industrial automation with a specialty in semiconductor automation. I made the transition to retail computer repair by mistake when I was opening an electronics design and manufacturing business. I was contracted by a large computer retailer to make repairs their technicians couldn’t. For the first few years I only contracted with other shops, municipalities and large organizations. Now I offer full service repairs to businesses and consumers alike.
My shop is a full service repair facility repairing both Apple Mac and Microsoft Windows based computers and laptops. I’ve been fortunate enough to have received extensive training for both platforms so there isn’t much I can’t repair. I also keep up-to-date with continuing education credits.
Data and customer privacy are my priorities. I keep your contact information to a minimum and do not store electronic records of my customers. You will never be contacted by me after the sale unless there was an issue with your job. Most of my work is done in a manner that does not expose me to your personal files. Upon request I can use your storage devices which will eliminate the need to access or see any of your personal files.
My specialty is the repair of laptops and computers. I stopped repairing phones and tablets about five years ago due to poor parts quality. I can address software issues with these devices but will always refer you to the OEM for hardware issues.
